PRIDE Team

What is PRIDE?

The Delaware County PRIDE Team is a group of teens who attend one of 8 local high schools in Delaware County who have pledged to live a lifestyle free from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco!

In addition, they have also committed to spreading that message to their communities through skits, dances, and other performance arts!

The PRIDE Team conducts outreach by traveling to local elementary schools to perform in front of thousands of teachers, students, and administrators county-wide. Their performances include topics such as bullying, vaping, smoking, drinking, making healthy decisions, and the benefits of living a life free of substance misuse.

Red Ribbon Week

The biggest event for the PRIDE Team each year is our annual celebration of Red Ribbon Week! We spend the third week every October traveling across Delaware County to perform a show for elementary schools that highlights the importance of personal health and a substance-free lifestyle!
